I've invited the family round this xmas for a traditional dinner, so obviously the roast is pretty important! I found an archive of recipes at this roast recipe site, but cant seem to decide on one - there's too many to choose from! It is fun planning such a big christmas meal though!

A friend and I were just discussing the other day how roasted chicken so often falls short of the mark -- often smelling far better than it tastes.

Better quality chicken definitely helps matters. In fact, I'll never go back to grocery store chicken again! I know how to truss, but generally don't bother with it... you've got me thinking twice, though. Thanks, Peter!
