Ingredients
  

  • 18 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup water
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Aluminum foil
  • Large spoon
  • Box grater (if shredding cheese)

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13-inch dish.
  2. Step 2: Stir the marinara, cream, water, garlic, oil, and Italian seasoning in the dish.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the uncooked tortellini until coated.
  4. Tip: Make sure every piece is covered in sauce.
  5. Step 4: Top with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan, cover with foil, and bake 20 minutes.
  6. Step 5: Uncover, add the remaining cheeses, and bake 10 minutes more.
  7. Tip: Broil briefly for a browned top.
  8. Step 6: Rest 5 minutes and top with basil.
