Spiderweb Taco Dip

A no-bake layered taco dip with cream cheese, beans, guacamole, salsa, and cheese, topped with a sour cream spiderweb for Halloween.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ounce taco seasoning
  • 16 ounces refried beans
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup thick salsa drained
  • 1½ cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • ½ cup sliced black olives
  • ⅔ cup sour cream for the web
  • 3 whole black olives for the spider
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Equipment

  • 9-inch pie plate or shallow serving dish
  • Hand mixer or sturdy spoon
  • Zip-top bag (for piping)
  • Toothpick

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Beat the cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth.
  2. Step 2: Spread the mixture in a pie plate.
  3. Step 3: Layer the refried beans, guacamole, and drained salsa.
  4. Tip: Drain the salsa well.
  5. Step 4: Top with the cheese and sliced olives.
  6. Step 5: Pipe concentric circles of thinned sour cream and drag a toothpick outward to make a web.
  7. Step 6: Add an olive spider and chill for 1 hour before serving.
