Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 ripe banana mashed
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips plus extra for topping

  • 10- to 12-ounce ramekin
  • Blender or mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a ramekin.
  2. Step 2: Blend all ingredients except the chocolate chips until mostly smooth.
  3. Tip: Leave a little texture for a chewier bite.
  4. Step 3: Stir in the chocolate chips and pour into the ramekin.
  5. Step 4: Top with extra chocolate chips.
  6. Step 5: Bake 20 to 22 minutes until set.
  7. Tip: A slightly gooey center is ideal.
  8. Step 6: Cool 3 minutes and serve warm.
